In the top and middle brackets, teams compete for positions 1 through 8 and and 9 through 16.  The winners of the first round matches move to the right and the losers to the left.  Each team plays three matches--there are no double eliminations. 

A bottom bracket may be used when the league has 18 - 20 teams competing.  Match information is listed on the Playoff Info page.
